Driver Cards

While most of our on/off function grips and joysticks contain high current switches, there are times when the switch is not capable of operating the end function correctly. We offer several different electronic modules designed to convert proportional and/or low current on/off signals into the needed format for the particular application.

Customizable

Most of these modules are microcontroller based and/or programmable, which means they can be modified as required to meet our customers’ exact needs.

Proportional

Analog (EM-DC-A)

  • Proportional valve driver module for the Danfoss PVG-32 and PVG-120 series valves
  • Operates 2 complete bidirectional valves
  • 12 or 24 VDC operation
  • Short circuit/reverse polarity protected
  • Programmable for fine tuning
  • On board ramping adjustment
  • 0.5 to 4.5 VDC inputs, joystick or separated buttons
  • Neutral center feature
  • Diverter or dump valve operation

Digital (EM-DC-D)

  • Proportional valve driver module for most PWM operated valves
  • Operates 2 complete bidirectional valves
  • 12 or 24 VDC operation
  • Short circuit/reverse polarity protected
  • Programmable for fine tuning
  • On board ramping adjustment
  • On board frequency adjustment
  • 0.5 to 4.5 VDC inputs, joystick or separated buttons
  • Neutral center feature
  • Diverter or dump valve operation

ON/OFF

Highside (EM-HSD-12)

  • High current solid state relay driver module
  • 12 output channels
  • 12 or 24 VDC operation
  • 5A per channel capacity
  • Channels can be paralleled for larger currents
  • Short circuit/reverse polarity protected
  • LED status indicators
  • Onboard 5VDC supply for inputs
  • 12th channel can be configured for diverter or dump valve operation

Relay Modules (EM-RY)

  • Available in 5, 12, and 24 VDC versions
  • Available in 2, 4, and 6 relay versions
  • Control current is less than 1 mA
  • Relay contacts are rated at 5A
  • Diode protection is standard
  • Cycle life measured in the millions
